Poll of the Week | August 2, 2016
Each Tuesday we pose a question to get feedback from you, our readers. Comments are welcomed. If your response does not conform to the answers presented or you would like to expand on your answer, leave a comment. Each poll opens on Tuesday and is closed the following Monday.
Results from last week’s poll, Do you think Trump’s rise signals a larger trend and changing fortunes for men and traditionalists in the Culture War?: Opinions were more split on this question, even though “Yes, a temporary shift” wins by a plurality. When combined with “Yes, a permanent shift” the “yes” vote clearly wins. “No shift” garnered around one-quarter of the vote. Trump’s rise is encouraging in that people appear to be waking up, but as to whether his candidacy and possible presidency will bring lasting change remains to be seen.
This week’s poll asks the question: If Hillary wins, do you think mass censorship will be a major agenda item? As a publisher, I can inform you censorship software is already becoming quite sophisticated, as innocent pictures of women in bikinis we have published have been blocked by Facebook and Twitter. Think of gay conservative Milo’s banning from Twitter as a test run for what’s coming if Hillary wins, in my opinion. So, what’s yours?
This Week’s Poll
